Have you seen UStream? It's another free video site (not necessarliy for job seekers but for more entertainment or entrepreneurial pursuits.
Very happy to hear that site worked for you! I'm sure you've helped someone else just by mentioning this as another resource for job seekers.

Hi Veronika,

After I read your blog I signed up on Visual CV and it took me a while to work my way around it. Linked In was not really effective, because I did not paid the monthly fee. I browsed around and found http://www.mayomann.com and uploaded my Video Resume. That site worked quite well and I was able to make good connections and got hired.

It was meant as a dark humor entry - but I actually had a friend call up and ask if I was okay... so that got me thinking about how strongly I had set the tone of the blog... which is a good thing! I guess that means I'm strongly branded on the "happy/positive" side; so much so that it kind of threw her off that I placed that on the blog.

I was hoping the inclusion of clowns and bunnies would make the humor obvious; but I have to remember that some readers may be confused when I do something out of the ordinary here....

I admit - I can have a "unique" sense of humor sometimes!

I love books - but don't always make time to read! But "The Chic Entrepreneur", as I'm sure you'd agree, was a pretty easy and informative read!

If you're looking for another business book that's easy to read consider "Women & Wealth" by Dr. Pat Laino or “Can We Do That?! Outrageous PR Stunts That Work— And Why Your Company Needs Them” by Peter Shankman - two authors that I know personally and that share their busines knowledge in easy to understand and fun books.

I am not a fan of books. I hate reading so much! :D But when it comes to business, everything can change for me. My friend purchased "The Chic Entrepreneur" few weeks ago and she let me borrow it. I love the book. I learned a lot and I had fun reading it. Well, it made my friend bought another one because she just gave it to me. :)Thanks for sharing this interview.
